Motor Technician Job in Blackpool
Join the team at The Garage Blackpool on Dickson Road.
We are looking for a qualified motor technician with at least five years of experience to join our workshop in Blackpool.
Monday to Friday · No weekends · 28 days’ holiday
What we need
- A qualified motor technician.
- A minimum of five years’ motor technician experience.
- Your own tools.
- MOT tester qualification is desirable, but not essential — applicants without it are welcome.
- Confidence carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnosing faults and completing mechanical repairs.
- A careful approach to safety, quality workmanship and recording the work completed.
- Someone who works well with the workshop team.
The role
- Carry out routine servicing and vehicle inspections.
- Diagnose faults and complete mechanical repairs.
- Check brakes, steering, suspension and other vehicle systems.
- Report findings and any further work required.
- Keep the work area safe and tidy.
Working hours
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00am–5:30pm.
- Friday: 9:00am–5:00pm.
- No weekend working.
Holiday
28 days’ holiday.
