Our Interim service combines an engine oil and filter change with essential vehicle checks. For 1.0–1.5 Litre vehicles.
What is included?
Before servicing
- Check timing-belt replacement interval where applicable and report when due.
- Inspect bodywork, lamps, trims and oil level; fit protective covers.
- Check interior and exterior lights, ABS and airbag warning lights, washers, wipers and horn.
- Apply Forté treatments to remove internal contamination.
Under the bonnet
- Check cooling system and fan operation; record antifreeze protection.
- Check and record brake-fluid condition.
- Check power-steering operation and fluid condition; top up under-bonnet fluids where applicable.
With the vehicle raised
- Change engine oil and oil filter; fit a new sump-plug washer.
- Check fuel lines, brake pipes and exhaust condition and security.
- Check steering and suspension joints, mountings and gaiters.
- Carry out a tyre report; check wheel bearings and CV gaiters and joints.
- Check front brakes and complete a brake report.
Final checks
- Refill with the specified engine-oil grade; torque wheel nuts/studs.
- Road-test the vehicle and report findings; recheck engine-oil level.
- Check interior cleanliness and stamp the service book.
Your inspection report
Our sheet records tyre condition, tread depth, pressures, tyre sizes and wheel torque, plus brake measurements and brake-fluid condition. The technician records findings and items requiring attention.

Checks and replacements marked where applicable depend on the vehicle’s equipment and specification. Additional operations required for your make or model are outside this package and may cost extra. Brake-fluid condition is checked; brake-fluid replacement is a separate service.
