Our Full service combines an engine oil and filter change with a thorough inspection and applicable filter and spark-plug replacements. For 2.0–3.0 Litre vehicles.
What is included?
Before servicing
- Check vehicle history and timing-belt replacement interval where applicable.
- Inspect bodywork, lamps, trims and oil level; fit protective covers.
- Check seatbelts, interior and exterior lights, ABS and airbag warning lights.
- Check air-conditioning operation, washers, wipers and horn.
- Check suspension dampers; lubricate door hinges, locks and bonnet catches.
- Apply Forté treatments and check the fuel cap.
Under the bonnet
- Check cooling system and fan operation; record antifreeze protection and brake-fluid condition.
- Check auxiliary drive belts, engine-breather system and vacuum pipes.
- Check and top up AdBlue where applicable; check power steering and fluid condition.
- Check the throttle body and clean if required; check battery level and lubricate terminals.
- Check and top up under-bonnet fluid levels.
- Replace the air filter, pollen/cabin filter, fuel filter and spark plugs where applicable to your vehicle. These applicable replacements are included in the Full service price.
With the vehicle raised
- Change engine oil and oil filter; fit a new sump-plug washer.
- Check fuel lines, brake pipes and exhaust condition and security.
- Check and top up axle, transfer-box and gearbox oil levels where applicable.
- Check steering and suspension joints, mountings and gaiters; complete a tyre report.
- Check wheel bearings, CV gaiters and joints, and clutch cable/cylinder where applicable.
- Grease applicable greasing points; check front and rear brakes, including the handbrake, and complete a brake report.
Final checks
- Refill with the specified engine-oil grade; torque wheel nuts/studs.
- Carry out the diagnostic check where applicable; reset the service interval indicator where applicable.
- Road-test the vehicle and report findings; recheck engine-oil level.
- Check interior cleanliness and stamp the service book.
Your inspection report
Our sheet records tyre condition, tread depth, pressures, tyre sizes and wheel torque, plus brake measurements and brake-fluid condition. The technician records findings and items requiring attention.
Vehicle-specific requirements
Checks and replacements marked where applicable depend on the vehicle’s equipment and specification. Additional operations required for your make or model are outside this package and may cost extra. Brake-fluid condition is checked; brake-fluid replacement is a separate service.
